BOARD OF PITKIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO
RESOLUTION #?4 -42
WHEREAS, HB 1041 and HB 1034 have been passed by the
1974 Legislature and have become law, and
WHEREAS, said bills significantly alter and extend the
powers and responsibilities of the County with respect to land
use and zoning, and
WHEREAS, a re-numbering, editing, codification and the
inclusion of amendments in existing Pitkin County zoning
regulations has long been overdue, and is made especially impor-
tant by the major amendments made on March 25, 1974,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners that the attached newly edited and codified Zoning
Code be referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission for comment &
recommendation within thirty days, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice be published for a
Public Hearing to be held as soon as practicable to consider
adoption of the proposed codified Zoning Resolution of Pitkin
County.
