RESOLUTION No. 74-~
APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY
TO DEFRAY EXPENSES IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGE'
FOR THE COUNTY OF PITKIN, COLORADO
ED
WHEREAS the County Hospital does not have the funds to
purchase land for the new hospital,
WHEREAS the Hospital Board has asked the County C~mmissioners
to purchase the land for the new hospital,
WHEREAS this contingency could not have reasonabl~ been
foreseen at the time of adopting the 1974 budget,
WHEREAS there will be $250,000 of unappropriated ~urplus
in the County Public Works Fund,
WHEREAS the purchase of land for the hospital is tow an
approved expenditure from the Public Works Fund after olding
a public hearing and amending the current resolution d~signating
the purposes for which the Public Works Fund may be usTd,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County:
Section 1. That the 1974 appropriation for the Pdblic
Works Fund is increased from nothing to $250,000 for the
aforementioned purpose.
