RESOLUTION
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO
No. 74-66
Exemption from the Definition of a S~division -- Jochems
WHEREAS, William D. Jochems has requested an exemption
from the definition of a subdivision allowing him to merge an
adjacent parcel, to b~ divided and conveyed to him by an adjacent
landowner, into his two lots, and then merging all three into one
new parcel, said property all being a part of Section 17, Town-
ship 10 South, Range 88 West of the 6th PM; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has one existing residence on
the property at this time and no further development for the
property is here sought, contemplated, or approved; and
WHEREAS, said application is in conformance with the
intent and purpose of the Pitkin County Subdivision Regulations;
and
WHEREAS, based upon the facts presented by the appli-
cant, this Board has determined that the proposed division of the
adjacent parcel is the proper subject for an exemption, there
being no useful purpose to be served by the strict application of
the subdivision laws;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners grants the requested exemption from the definition
of a subdivision subject to the following condition: that this
resolution and a copy of a survey and legal description, in metes
and bounds only and omitting lot numbers, of the newly created
parcel be recorded with the Pitkin County Clerk and Recorder.
