BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO

WHEREAS. garage facilities are needed to house the
new City-County buses, and
WHEREAS an emergency ~situation exists due to the time
shortage for construction of said facilities, and
WHEREAS the Road & Bridge has budgeted $25,000
for construction of said facilities, and
WHEREAS an emergency situation exists due to the time
shortage for construction of said facilities, and
WHEREAS said emergency could not have been reasonably
forseen, and
WHEREAS conversion of the County equipment storage
building to said facility is a most efficient and least ex-
pensive solution,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the County negotiate a cost plus contract for
construction of said facility, and
2. That said contract will bind Contractor to a firm
price on all known expenditures, and
3. That said contract may not exceed the total amount
budgeted for said facility.
