DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE: The attached resolution designates Kate Jangula and Debbie Quinn
as BOCC proxies for 2005 CCI steering committee meetings. While it is not anticipated that any
staffperson will be attending CCI steering committee or other meetings for the Board, the proxy
designation allows the proxy to step in if needed when no BOCC member is able to attend. The
proxies are due back to CCI on 1/14/05.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the attached resolution.
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF PITKIN COUNTY COLORADO
APPOINTING PROXIES FOR CCI MEETINGS

Recitals
Pitkin County is a member of Colorado Counties, Inc. (CCI).
Each year, CCI requests that members designate proxies for that year's steering
committee meetings.
The County wishes to designate Kate Jangula as its Proxy for Health and Human
Services Steering Committee meetings, and Debbie Quinn as its Proxy for all other
steering committee meetings.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin
County, Colorado, does hereby appoint Debbie Quinn and Kate Jangula as its proxies for CCI
meetings in 2005, as detailed above, authorizes the Chair to sign the proxy forms, and directs
staffto return the signed forms to CCI by January 14, 2005.
ADOPTED ON THE 12TH DAY OF January, 2005.
