SPECIAL MEETING
APRIL 12, 2005
(Site Visit)

CALL TO ORDER: Chairperson Kay-Clapper called the special meeting of the
Board of County Commissioners to order at '12:35 PM.
COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Patti Kay-Clapper,
Dorothea Farris, Jack Hatfield, Mick Ireland and Michael Owsley
COMMISSION MEMBERS ABSENT: None
ALSO PRESENT: Debbie Quinn, Assistant County Manager; John Ely, County
Attorney; Dale Will, Director of Open Space; Lance Clarke, Assistant Director of
Community Development; Ezra Louthis, County Planner; E. Wayne Start, Elder
Grace Church; Terry Maner, Pastor/Elder Grace Church; Martin Mata, Mata
Design; Mike Gamba, Mike Gamba and Associates
GRACE CHURCH SITE VISIT:
E. Wayne Starr conducted a walking tour of the Grace Church property located at
'1776 Emma Road. The location and corners of the main church building and
parking lot area had been staked out and story poles were put in place to show
ridge heights.
Mr. Start explained the history of the existing structures on site as well as those
structures requested in the application.
ADJOURNMENT:
Commissioner Hatfield moved to adjourn the special site visit meeting.
Commissioner Ireland seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
