A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY
EXPENSES IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS
PITKIN, COLORADO
TO DEFRAY
BUDGETED FOR THE COUNTY OF
WHEREAS, the 1975 budget of Pitkin County contains
$35,000 for the purchase of a backhoe, tractor and mulcher,
and pickup truck,
WHEREAS, the needs Qf.~he ~ounty are better served by
the purchase of a small ~r with an accessory back-
hoe attached, instead of a backhoe, tractor and mulcher,
WHEREAS, the ~~er and backhoe and pickup cost
$38,000,
WHEREAS, this contingencM could not have been reason-
ably foreseen at the time of adopt/on of the budget,
WHEREAS, there is an unencumbered $3000 in the County
Contingency Fund that can be transferred to the Road, Bridge
and Trail Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, Colorado:
Section 1. That the 1975 budget for Road, Brid~e and
Trail Fund - Maintenance-Equipment is hereby increased
from $35,000 to $38,000 and that the 1975 a~propriation
for Road, Bridge, and Trails is hereby increased from
$847,894 to $850,894.
Section 2. That the Finance Officer is hereby directed
to transfer $3000 from unencumbered funds of the
Contingency Fund to the Road, Bridge and Trail Fund for
the aforementioned purposes.
Approved and adopted February 3, 1975.
