RESOLUTION #75-
A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSES
IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE COUNTY OF PITKIN, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the Aspen Foundation for the Arts has asked the County for
$2,500 to help defray the costs of the First Annual Arts Festival,
WHEREAS, the County Commissioners have determined that the Festival
is in the general benefit of the residents of the County,
WHEREAS, this contingency could not have been reasonably foreseen at
the time of the adoption of the budget,
WHEREAS, there is an unencumbered $2,500 in the County Contingency
Fund that can be transferred to the General Fund where it is needed,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
the County of Pitkin, Colorado,
SECTION 1:
That the 1975 appropriation for the General Fund is here-
by increased from $1,547,285 to $1,549,785 and the 1975
appropriation for the Commissioners' Departments (included
in the General Fund) is hereby increased from $836,576
to $839,076.
SECTION 2:
That the sum of $2,500 is hereby transferred from the
Contingency Fund to the General Fund for the afore-
mentioned purpose.
