RESOLUTION #75-2~~-
A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSES
IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE COUNTY OF PITKIN, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the disappearance of books at the Library has been and
continues to be a problem of inventory control and expense,
WHEREAS, no funds have been available in the past for the
purchase or rental of a book detecting system,
WHEREAS, the Library has solicited $3,000 in donations for
the lease of a book detector and tapes for the balance of 1975,
WHEREAS, this contingency could not have been reasonably fore-
seen at the time of adoption of the budget,
WHEF~AS, the Library is to receive $3,000 in donations which
will become an unappropriated surplus,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Pitkin, Colorado:
SECTION 1: That the 1975 appropriation for the Library Fund is
hereby increased from $92,840 to $95,840 for the aforementioned
purpose.
SECTION 2: That the 1975 estimated revenues for donations is
hereby increased from $1800 to $4800.
Approved and adopted April 7, 1975.
