RESOLUTION NO. 75-95
JARMAN-TIMROTH SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION
Section 1.4(b)
WHEREAS, Robert W. Jarman and Albert G. Timroth have
applied for a subdivision exemption pursuant to Section 1.4 (b)
of the Pitkin County Subdivision Regulations in order to divide an
existing duplex residential unit into two condominium units, and
WHEREAS, said duplex is located on Lot 16, Ridge Run
Subdivision, Filing I, West Village, which is currently zoned for
duplexes pursuant to Commissioners Resolution 74-97, and
WHEREAS, granting a subdivision exemption for Jarman-Timroth
application would not contribute to maintaining dwelling units for
residential housing by removing a rental unit from the housing market,
and
WHEREAS, the Pitkin County Commissioners feel that granting
said subdivision exemption request is contrary to the purposes of
the Pitkin County Subdivision Regulations,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Pitkin County
Commissioners hereby deny the subdivision exemption request for
Robert Jarman and Albert Timroth.
