BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
P~ESOLUTION #75-
CERTIFYING AND LEVYING GENERAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1976
(RE: Levying General Property Taxes for the year 1976 to help defray the
cost of government for the County of Pitkin and all cities, towns,
school districts, conservation districts, fire protection districts
and special assessment districts for the 1976 Budget Year.)
WHEt~EAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the amounts
of monies to be raised by a general property tax within the County of Pitkin;
and,
WHEREAS, the amount of money to be raised by general property taxes
does not exceed the statutory 105% limitations placed on gross amounts
(C.R.S. 1973, 29-1-301, as amended), or taxes in excess of 105% have been
approved by the Department of Local Affairs (or are exempt therefrom in the
case of School Districts), or the 105% limitation was exceeded only for the
purpose of debt retirement, which does not fall into the 105% limitation;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners
for the County of Pitkin certifies and levies general property taxes for the
year 1976 as indicated below:
