RATIFYING THE FINAL DRAFT OF
THE ROARING FORK RAILROAD HOLDING
AUTHORITY'S
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

RECITALS
1. The Pitkin County Board of Commissioners (hereinafter the `Board")has
previously commented on drafts of the Roaring Fork Railroad Holding
Authority's proposed Comprehensive Plan.
2. Those comments were forwarded to the Executive Director and Board of
Directors of the Roaring Fork Railroad Holding Authority.
3. Final drafts of components of the Comprehensive Plan, that is,the Recreational
Trails Plan and the Access Plan, have previously been approved by the Board.
4. All components of the Comprehensive Plan have been finalized and comments
from all of the participating governments have been addressed.
5. The Board of Directors of the Roaring Fork Railroad Holding Authority has
approved the final draft of the Comprehensive Plan subject to ratification by all
member government bodies.
6. The Board has reviewed the final draft and finds it to be in the best interests of the
County and its citizens to ratify the Comprehensive Plan as presented.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Pitkin County Board
of Commissioners that the Comprehensive Plan of the Roaring Fork Railroad Holding
Authority, as approved by the Board of Directors on February 3, 2000 is hereby ratified,
subject to the correction of the term"Highway 82 Bypass"throughout the document to
"Relocation of Highway 82" and the revision of the hunting access language.
FIRST READ AND APPROVED THIS 26TH DAY OF APRIL 2000.
