COUNTY, COLORADO, GRANTING APPROVAL TO LEN BOKENKO TO
REPLACE AN EXISTING MOBILE HOME WITH A LARGER MOBILE HOME
IN LAZY GLEN DUE TO A UNIQUE HARDSHIP
Resolution No.a-2000
RECITALS
1. Len Bokenko ("Applicant") requested that the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado (`BOCC") allow him to replace his existing mobile home with a
larger mobile home in the Lazy Glen Mobile Home Park.
2. The subject property is located at 14 Lazy Glen.
3. The BOCC heard this request at a special meeting on February 29, 2000.
4. The Board determined that the request should be approved due to the unique hardship
associated with the deteriorating health of Mr. Bokenko's wife, and the associated need
for a more modern home.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Pitkin County, Colorado, that it does hereby grant relief from the prohibition against
replacing mobile homes with larger mobile homes in the Lazy Glen Mobile Home Park
prior to the recordation of Final Plat due to the unique medical hardship associated with
Mrs. Bokenko's deteriorating health. The following condition shall be adhered to:
1. As this lot is in the mapped floodplain, all development shall meet Pitkin County
standards for development in the floodplain as stated in the Land Use Code, Section 3-80-
040 C.
