RECITALS
1. Pitkin County Public W~rks ("Applicant") has applied to the Board of County Commissioners
("BOCC") to create a 1.2 acre P*trcel from an 18.56 acre parcel in Emma for a down valley fueling facility.
2. The property is located ht Emma Road and is known as the Gredig house site.
3. The property is zoned AFR-10.
4. The Planning and Zoning Commission considered this application at a regular meeting ou June l,
2004, and recommended approvql with conditions by a vote of 3~0.
5. The Board of County C~mmissioners considered this application at a public meeting on September
28, 2005, at which time evidenc~ and testimony were presented with respect to rids application.
6. The BOCC fiuds that th4 application is not sufficiently consistent with the applicable provisions of
the Pitkin County Land Use C0d~.
NOW THEREFORE ,E IT RESOLVED by the BOCC that it does hereby deny the Public
Works rezoning, special review. GMQS exemption, 1041 hazard review, and subdivision exemption for a
relocated fueling facility.
