REAPPOINTING LINDA CROSSLAND TO
THE BASALT LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES

RECITALS
1. Volunteer Citizen Boards are established per the Home Rule Charter and State
Statute.
2. Linda Crossland's term on the Basalt Library Board of Trustees expired on
March 1, 2000.
3. The Library Board advertised for this vacancy.
4. The Library Board of Trustees recommends that Linda Crossland be reappointed
to the Basalt Library Board for a five year term to expire March 1, 2005.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO:
That the request from the Basalt Library Board of Trustees to reappoint Linda
Crossland as a Eagle County representative to the Basalt Library Board of Trustees is
hereby approved.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON THE 12th DAY OF APRIL, 2000.
