A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
A FILE AND PUBLICATION IDENTIFYING SERVICES FOR THE AGING.
WHEREAS, the Pitkin County Council on Aging recognized the
identification of services for the aging as an area of need, and
WHEREAS, the listing of services for the aging shall be the
first step of a Community Resource File planned by the Pitkin
County Library, and
WHEREAS, a grant request was prepared and submitted for
funding for this project, and
WHEREAS, nine hundred dollars has been made available to
the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County by the funding
agency, Rocky Mountain Area Agency on Aging, and
WHEREAS, the six conditions listed in the attached letter
from North West Colorado Council of Governments dated December 22,
1975, are agreed to, and
WHEREAS, this project shall benefit the citizens of Pitkin
County.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado,
Section 1: That the nine hundred dollar appropriation from
the Rocky Mountain Area Agency on Aging designated through
the Northwest Colorado Council of Governments to Pitkin
County is hereby added to the 1976 budget of Pitkin County.

to the Pitkin County Library budget for use in the se

Gentlemen:
We are pleased to transmit with this letter a check in the
amount of $900.00 to be used for the development of a
publication identifying services for the aging. This pro-
gram was identified as an area of need by the Pitkin County
Council on Aging.
Conditions imposed on your acceptance and use of this money
by the funding agency, Rocky Mountain Area Agency on Aging
include:
1.) Expenditures for personnel, materials and
publications
2.) Certification of local in-kind services
in the amount of $200.00
3.) Submittal of a quarterly and final report
outlining program accomplishments, problems
and status of the work.
4.) Completion of the project by June 30, 1976
5.) Verification of expenditures (copies of
receipts, warrants, etc.)
6.) Six (6) copies of the final report upon
completion.
Please review these conditions and upon your approval, sign
the duplicate of this letter and return to this office.
