DESIGNATING A PITKIN COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING
WHEREAS, it has been requested of the Board of County Commissioners

of Pitkin County, Colorado, that the persons hereinafter named be designa-
ted as the "Pitkin County Council on Aging", for the purpose of acting
in advisory capacity to Pitkin County on matters involving or directly
related to the needs and problems of the aged, and to assist the Board
of County commissioners in evaluation of all requests for funds from
groups or agencies for support of the various programs, existing or
to be proposed in the future, for the benefit of the aging of this County;

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado,
recognizes the great benefit to the residents of Pitkin coun~'of the

variousprograms and accomplishments resulting from the effo%ts of the

aforesaid group and agencies, and recognizes further the need for informe~
advice and evaluation of these programs to make any County f~cial

participation as meaningful as possible;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County that the following named persons, to wit: Sidney Bingham,
Martha Braunig, Mona Frost, Eve Homeyer, Barbara Jordan, Fred Lane and
Tom McCabe be and they hereby are de3ignated as the Pitkin County Council
on Aging for the primary purpose of advising the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, of the existing and proposed programs
and activities of the various groups and agencies within pitkin County,
Colorado, for the benefit of the aging of said County and to evaluate
for the Board of County Commissioners all requests for financial partici-
pat ion by Pitkin County, Colorado, in such programs and activities, pro-
vided that such designation of persons comprising the pitkin County
Council on Againg shall be effective for the term November 1, 1975, to
May 1, 1976.
