RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY CO MMISSIONERS OF PITKIN
COUNTY, COLORADO, APPROVING A TEMPO ~ARY COMMERCIAL USE
PERMIT FOR CHERYL SOVICH TO OPERATE A LANDSCAPING BUSINESS
FROM THE ASPEN QUICK MART FOR THE SUMMER OF 2006

RECITALS
1. Pursuant to Subsection 3-200-030 of the Pi :kin County Land Use Code,
the Board of County Commissioners of Pitki~ County, Colorado ("Board")
may approve a Temporary Commercial se Permit for commercial
activities or special events of more than 72 h urs duration.
2. Cheryl Sovich (hereafter, the "Applicant") h ~s applied for approval of a
Temporary Commercial Use Permit to oPE1rate a wholesale landscape
business from the Aspen Quick Mart site a1t 31336 Highway 82 for the
summer of 2006.
3. The Board considered this application at a public meeting on April 26,
2006, at which time evidence and testimony II/ere presented.
4. The Board finds that, to the extent applicable, the application complies
with the standards in Subsection 3-200-030 0 f the Land Use Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED B't' THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY THAT the Cheryl Sovich Temporary
Commercial Use Permit is approved, subject to App icant's compliance with each
of the following conditions:
1. Applicant shall adhere to all material representations made in, or in
connection with, the application.
2. There shall be no retail sales or signane associated with the use,
except to note that there are no retail sale:; on the premises.
3. The dates of operation are limited to frorn April 15, 2006, to October
15, 2006.
4. At the completion of operations the site shall be restored to its previous
condition.
5. Daily hours of operation are limited to froIT 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
6. Employee commuting shall be consolidClted to a maximum of four
vehicles to preserve parking for the Quick Mart.

7. Failure to comply with the conditions of approval may result in
revocation of this permit.
