Vos Caudill, Pitkin County, CO RESOLUTION OF THE RESTONE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISION PITHIN COUNTY, COLORADO, APPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT ON 399 REDSTONE BOULEVARD OF THE REDSTONE TOWNSITE. Resolution No. ~-2006 RECITALS 1. John Chromy, ("Applicant") has applied to the Redstone Historic Preservation Commission, Pitkin County, Colorado ("RHPC") for approval of a new detached garage located at ~ Redstone Boulevard. 3lD to The lot is zoned "VR" Village Residential and contains 8,250 sq ft. 3. The lot is located within the Redstone Historic District and therefore is subject to review by the Redstone Historic Preservation Commission, utilizing the Historic Preservation Guidelines for Redstone. 'L 4. The Applicant proposed a 642 sq ft, detached garage located on the north side of N the lot, adjacent to an existing house. a ~_ 5. The RHPC reviewed the application at a duly noticed public hearing on May 16, ~ 2006, at which time evidence and testimony were presented with respect to this application. U 6. The RHPC approved the application as submitted and with conditions finding that CS the review standards have been met. t ~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the RHPC that it does ~I hereby approve the development for Lot 495 Redstone Boulevard, Redstone, subject to ~ the following conditions; 1. All documents provided by the applicant for the review by the board are made part of '~ this approval, as amended herein, and any changes to the drawings or material • representations must be submitted to staff for review or submission to the RHPC prior ~~~lll... to start of the work. 2. That a tree preservation plan be included in the permit documents, to include fencing ~ and excavation conditions for work near any large trees on or adjacent to the work ~ site. CwJ 3. The RHPC recognized the unique circumstances of the existing structure and ~2 indicated that the log edge siding was appropriate for this project based on the intent t~ of the guidelines to provide compatibility between outbuildings and their parent structures. That any exterior lighting fixtures be submitted for final review by the board. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING was posted on the 11`s day of May, 2006. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16`h day of May, 2006.
