ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY,
COLORADO, GRANTING A REZONING FROM B-2 TO AH/PUD FOR THE CITY OF ASPEN
ECO LOFTS

Recitals
]. City of Aspen, hereafter "Applicant", has applied to the Pitkin County Board of County
Commissioners, "BOCC", for approval to rezone Lot 6, Block 5, Amended Filing I, AABC
Subdivision from B-2 to AH/PUD, in order to build 5 employee housing units on the old animal
shelter Lot.
4. The Lot is located in the AABC, and is legally described as Lot 6, Block 5, Amended Filing 1,
AABC Subdivision.
5. The Planning and Zoning Commission heard this rezoning application at a regular public meeting
on August] 5,2006, at which time they recommended approval of the requested zoning change.
6. The BOCC heard the]" Reading of this application at a duly noticed Public Hearing on October
25,2006, at which time evidence and testimony were presented with respect to this application.
The application was heard at 2" Reading at a Public Meeting on November 1,2006.
7. The Board finds that this rezoning application is consistent with the Aspen Area Community
Plan and the Pitkin County Land Use Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Pitkin County Board of County
Commissioners that it hereby rezones Lot 6, Block 5, Amended Filing 1, AABC Subdivision as shown in
Exhibit A, from B-2 to AH/PUD.
