A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO,
RATIFYING EAGLE COUNTY'S APPOINTMENT OF VALERIE WELCH
AS AN EAGLE COUNTY REPRESENTATIVE OF
THE BASALT REGIONAL LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES

RECITALS
1. Volunteer Citizen Boards are established per the Home Rule Charter and State
Statute.
2. The Basalt Regional Library Board of Trustees has received a resignation of the
Eagle County Representative.
3. The Basalt Regional Board of Trustees considered the applications and by a vote of 5
to 0 recommended Valerie Welch for the Eagle County seat.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado, that Pitkin County ratifies Eagle County's Appointment of
Valerie Welch to the Basalt Regional Library Board of Trustees.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON THE 6th DAY OF DECEMBER, 2006.
