The Honeywell HV AC control Maintenance Contract #089-2005 (the "Agreement")
dated September 2, 2006 between Pitkin County (the "County") and Honeywell Building
Solutions (HBS) 345 Inverness Drive South Bldg B, Englewood. Colorado 80112 (the
"Contractor"), is hereby amended as follows:
Contract Effective Date:
October I I, 2006
Price for Year 1: Twenty Six Thousand, Four Hundred Eight Dollars and Zero Cents
($26,408.00), (plus applicable taxes).the contract may be extended for an additional term of one
(1) year by the express written consent of both parties.

Clarifications:
This is an amendment to tbe existing contract # 089-2005 Line Account # 001.28.00000.82000
from Pitkin County and signed by Dan Nordstrom at Honeywell and dated September 2nd 2005,
and Maintenance Contract Proposal #941-250125.
Scope of work
Honeywell will provide 2 days of Labor to be used at Pitkin County's discretion. The contract
provides 16 man-hours per month, which includes all travel and expenses required, pbone
assistance and belp via the internet through the County network system.
Emergency work is available outside of this contract for Honeywell's preferred customer rate of
Mech contract: $82.50 $123.75 OT
Auto contract: $112.50 $168.75 OT
Maintenance Contract Proposal
The above Scope of work is part of this Honeywell Maintenance Contract; the contract is
automatically renewed yearly with au escalation for inflation. At the expiration of the initial
term, tbe contract may be extended for an additional term of one (I) year. The price quoted is an
annual price billed quarterly. The contract provides 16 man-hours per month including all travel
and expenses required, phone assistance and help via the internet through your system.
Overview:
This proposal is meant to continue the properly functioning Mechanical and HV AC Controls
system. Tbe Labor associated with this contract will be used as needed to provide training,
reprogramming, calibrating, verification of proper operation and to assist Pitkin County with
system operation. It sbould be noted that the con troll system is only part of tbe answer to your

energy and environmental control. In order to provide optimum opemting HV AC system the
mechanical system also needs to be evaluated and any repairs or modifications made. The
enclosed proposal is a service contract that includes 16 hours peT month for either controls of
mechanical services. this would provide professional evaluation of all Pitkin County HV AC
mechanical system equipment. Honeywell will assist Pitkin County in their preventative
maintenance program; Honeywell will review the system operation, make recommendations, and
provide written reports upon completion or eacb inspection via the internet. Regular inspections
by Honeywell would allow us to become familiar with Pitkin County facilities and better assist
tbeir needs. The minimum contract length is two (2) years starting in Septemberof2005. The
contract is very ftexible and will allow modification as long as tbe initial project cost is
paid.
In all other respects the Agreement is in full force and effect and remains uncbanged by
this Amendment.
