I have completed an address correction for the above parcel, due to a road name change. This is a
life/safety issue for the Ambulance and Fire Department to be able to locate the address of a call in a
timely manner.
In accordance with the national standard for addressing, your address was changed from "1640 Prince
Creek Rd" to "42 Scenic Rd", and the other address of "1642 Prince Creek Rd" to "40 Scenic Rd"
effective Immediately.
This number assignment is based on its position between existing addresses, As part of the address
assignment process, an a-mail was sent to various city and county public service and safety departments
to establish this address as official. You may need to let others know of this official change.

1~. Tha unit shall be constructed within a properly approved -
outbuilding.
2. The tollowinq conditionarequested by the Aspen/Pitkin
County Housing Authority (APCHA) shall be adhered to by
the applicant: II
a. The applicant shall provide a dead restriction, as
stipulated in Section 3-8.11 (a) of the Land Use
Code, to the APCHA for approval. upon approval by
the APCHA, the applicant shall record thedaed with
thsPitkin County Clerk and Recorder's Otlice prior '
to issuance of'a building permit for the caretaker
unit.

b. Prior to leasing the Caretaker Duelling unit (in the j
event that it is leased), the applicant shall notify
the Housing Authority, and have the prospective '~
tenant complete the required qualification forms and
submit those to the Housing Authority Por approval.
Rental rates for this unit shall not eXceed Category ~
2 rental rates established in the Aspen/Pitkin
County Housing Guidelines in effect 'at the time of
rental.
c. It the unit is rented, the applicant shall provide
to the Housing Authority a copy of the executed ~ '~
lease at the time the unit is rented and upon every ~
renewal of the lease term.
3. The unit shall be constructed within the building ~" ~"
envelope established for the primary residence, as

RECITALS
1. Dorothea Fazris (hereafter "Applicant") has requested that the Pittcin County Community
P Resolution No 93-102 (attached) related to required

location of an approved caretaker dwelling unit (cdu).
2. The property is located at 1640 Prince Creek Road.
3. Resolution 93-102 required the cdu to be located within an yutbuilding and within the building
envelope for the primary residence.
4. The Land Use Code no longer requires a cdu to be attached to a primary residence or in an
approved outbuilding.
Now, Therefore, be it Determined by the Community Development Director that the Farris cdu as
approved by Resolution No. 93-102 may be detached from the primary residence or any outbuilding and
may be located in the primary or secondary building envelope as these are designated on the Farris 1Q41
Hazazd Review Map recorded at Book 21, Page 91.
