APW A Public Works A ward Presentation

DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE:
The Colorado Chapter of the American Public Works Association presents annual awards
to the best Public Works projects around the State. Pitkin County was presented with two
awards for work completed in 2006. The Thomasville Lime Kiln Stabilization Project
and the Landfill Airspace Creation and CID Volume Reduction Project both received
recognition for innovation and excellence.
An APW A Colorado Chapter Board Member will be presenting the awards to Staff at this
regular meeting.
