(WC3) a not-for-profit Colorado corporation. It will be a community party, held in front of the Woody Creek Store, which is the home of the WC3. This event has been approved by The Woody Creek Mobile Home Park homeowners' board, and the Woody Creek Caucus Planning Commission. The Mobile Home Park has given us permission to use one of their entrances and to block off their street that runs next to the store, to accommodate the event. There will be a small stage for our local musicians. The bulk of the events take place in the private yard of the store itself. There will be a foot race from the Woody Creek firehouse to the store, one- tenth of a mile. For this reason, we are asking to be able to close the upvalley lane of Upper River Road for the three hours of the event, for the safety of Creekfest participants. The road is very narrow as it passes in front of the store and Tavern, and closing the lane would give us a buffer from traffic. Parking will occur on the private property of the Dinsmoors, which is across from the Woody Creek Post Office. Other parking will occur in the existing parking lot across from the store. Our volunteers will direct traffic to the parking areas and also around the closed lane. We can acconunodate fifty cars at a time, as well as normal parking for the Tavern.
