The Board may return this application if it does not contain a~l the
facts in question. Applicant's description of proposed variance
showing justification: Owner wishes to partially enclose existing
carport area foor a two car tandem garage and maintain the remainder of
the carport space as a breezeway entrance and drive-through area. The
existing carport roof abutts the original 20' setback line required
under zoning in effect at the time or construction. There is a cribbed
retaining wall approximately 6' into the setback. The Owner wishes to
use this wall as the' sidewall of the garage and gain space for the
garage-breezeway. The resulting encroachment into the setback would
be approximately .16' un~er present zoning requiEments.
The granting of this variance will in no way jeopardize the views or
interfere in any way with adjoining residences, nor will it compromise
snow removal from Lemon Road; hence it is in.keeping with the intent
of the zoning ~equirements.
