Dear Tlichael:
I am writing this letter since Steve rlcDonald of Thurston's,
Inc. who would like to build a building on our Lot 4, Block
1, is presently stifled by a seemingly arbitrary interpretation
of the Land Use Code. I have enclosed John McBride`s letter
explaining the history that he wrote to me shortly after he
left town last week.
After reading over the enclosed it should be self-explanatory
what the problems of the issue are and since we cannot find
any code information specifically addressing the resolution
of this problem it may be something that ycu as County
Commi ~Sioners should decide upon.

With regards to your proposed nAw identification sign to replace the old one, I
h,~ave no objections. Approval is hereby granted for the construction of that
sign ®h the same location provided it is no highAr than the other and provided
that if and when we decide to build Fame kind of an entrance identification
structixne at tha entrance, you will c~c~re~ that if we want the sign wilt be re~-
moved and that we will supply alternative identification on the new marker
far the entr~~nce.
There is a chance that we might wenh to do that this summer, however, I have
no idea what the nature of such an entr~-+nceway design might be at this time.
