On thy,; date the Pitkin County Commissioners sat as the County Board of
Equal ~r.a io,-, to hear and read all protests received by the Pitk is County
Assesc,or's Office, relative to the change in Assessed Valuation as prepared
by that office.
A total of 71 protests to the new evaluation were received by the
Assessor's Office. Written notices to these taxpayers protests, stating
their protest or petition has been denied were mailed to them, certified
mail, return receipt requested.
A total of 5 people appeared in person before the Board, as follows:
Betty Harbour Jerry Hob good Jens Christensen
Herbert Winter John Maclntyre
In addition to the above, there were 12 written protests received, for
a grand total of 17.
The Commissioners took no action at this time, other than evaluating
and discussing each protest, whether written or presented in person. The
Board has until July 31st to make any adjustments.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourn/e/d.
