RESOLUTION 76-~.~
A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSES AND RECORD
BUDGETED REVENUES, IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE COUNTY OF PITKIN, COLORADO
WHEREAS, Ballet West provides ballet performances in Aspen during each
summer and thus provides a valuable cultural event to the community,
WHEREAS, Ballet West is in need of dance floor material to be placed
at the High School gymnasium for use during performances, at a cost of $3,000,
WHEREAS, The City of Aspen, Recreation and Parks Department and/or the
Aspen School District schools have need of these materials at other times of
the year,
WHEREAS, this contingency could not have reasonably been foreseen at
the time of the adoption of the 1976 budget,
WHEREAS, $3,000 in funds from the Commissioners Department Contingency
are available to be used,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
the County of Pitkin, Colorado:
1. That the appropriation for the Human Resources Department with
the Social Services Fund be increased by $3,000 from $122,582 to
$125,582,
2. That the 1976 available budgeted revenues for the Social Services
Fund be increased by $3,000,
3. That $3,000 be transferred within the General Fund from the
Commissioners Department Contingency to Commissioners Department
Transfer to Social Services Fund, Human Resources Department.
