HomeMy WebLinkAboutbocc.res.058.1976RESOLUTION BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO RESOLUTION 76-55 A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSE AND RECORD BUDGETED REVENUES, IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE COUNTY OF PITKIN, COLORADO WHEREAS, a County employee's clothing was burned while driving a County owned bus, and it is necessary to replace that clothing at a cost of $480.56, WHEREAS, a bus system for the aging, called Dial-a-Ride will receive a grant of $1,000 from the Colorado Council on Aging which is necessary for operations, WHEREAS, these contingencies could not have been reasonably foreseen at the time of adoption of the 1976 budget, WHEREAS, there is an unencumbered $480.56 in the County Contingency Fund that can be transferred to the General Fund, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, Colorado: I. That the appropriation for the General Fund be increased by $1,480.56 from $1,937,586 to $1,939,067, 2. That the sum of $480.56 is hereby transferred from the Contingency Fund to the General Fund, 3. That the 1976 General Fund budgeted revenues be increased by $1,000 for the Colorado Council on Aging grant and by $480.56 for the transfer from the Contingency Fund.
