HomeMy WebLinkAboutbocc.res.061.1976RESOLUTION BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO RESOLUTION 76-(p) A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSES AND RECORD BUDGETED REVENUES, IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE COUNTY OF PITKIN, COLORADO WHEREAS, the $10,171 appropriation for animal control in the 1976 budget has been deemed insufficient to run an adequate animal control program by the City-County Humane Officer, WHEREAS, an additional $18,499 is needed from the County for continued operations, WHEREAS, this contingency could not have been reasonably foreseen at the time of adoption of the 1976 budget, WHEREAS, actual revenues from fines and impoundment are now expected to exceed budgeted revenues by at least $7,500, WHEREAS, there is available $10,999 in the Commissioners Department Contingency to be transferred to Animal Control, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, Colorado: 1. That the 1976 appropriation for the General Fund is increased by $18,499 from $1,939,067 to $1,957,566, 2. That General Fund budgeted revenues should be increased by $7,500.
