RE: APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSE
AND RECORD BUDGETED REVENUES, IN EXCESS OF AP~IOUNTS BUD-
GETED FOR THE COUNTY OF PITKIN, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the County has assumed responsibility for operating
its mass transit (bus) system and has recognized the need for other
County services; and
WHEREAS, the contingency could not have reasonably been foreseen
at the time of the adoption of the 1976 budget; and
WHEREAS, the following funds in the amount of $90,056 are avail-
able in the General Fund,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Pitkin, Colorado:
1) that the 1976 appropriation for the General Fund be
decreased by $90,056 and the Road and Bridge Fund increased by $87,056
and the Social Services Fund be increased by $3,000.
2) that the 1976 available budgeted revenues for the Road
and Bridge Fund be increased by $87.,056 and the Social Services Fund
by $3,000.
