RE: APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY
EXPENSE AND RECORD BUDGETED REVENUES, IN EXCESS
OF AMOUPJTS BUDGETED FOR THE COUNTY OF PITKIN,
COLORADO
WHEREAS, the Upper Colorado River Community Center Board is
responsible for providing services to Developmentally Delayed persons of
all ages, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable to have these services available
for qualifying citizens of Pitkin County, and
WHEREAS, these services have proven to be more extensive than was
foreseen at the time of adoption of the 1976 Budget, and
WHEREAS, there is $290.00 in the Social Services Fund Budget that
can be transferred from line items (Human Resources Council $200.00, Ballet
West $90.00) to the Upper Colorado Community Center Board, and the balance
of $210.00 from the County Contingency Fund, and
WHEREAS, there is an unencumbered $210.00 in the County Contingency
Fund that can be transferred to the Social Services Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Pitkin County, Colorado:
1) That the 1976 appropriation for the Social Service Fund be
increased by $210.00.
2) That the 1976 available budgeted revenues for the Social Services
Fund be increased by $210.00.
3) That the sum of $210.00 is hereby transfered from the Con-
tingency Fund to the Social Services Fund.
