Resolution No. 76- ~~~o
CONCERNING: Registration of Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Contractors
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that it is
in the County's best interest to register electrical, mechanical and plumbing
contractors working in the County in order to exclude those contractors not
licensed by the State of Colorado; and
WHEREAS, such registration is authorized by la~v as a supplement to
the State's licensing function.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT
1. The Pitkin County Building Inspector shall register all electrical, mechani-
cal and plumbing contractors who have been properly licensed by the State
of Colorado desiring to work in the County, and shall collect from each
contractor an annual registration fee of $~~-'~ ~
2. The Building Inspector shall place a stop-work order on any job on which
the contractor is not registered.
