Re: Subdivision Exemption - Grange
WHEREAS, Emil Grange has applied for a subdivision
exemption pursuant to Section 4 of the Pitkin County Land Use
Code for the purpose of selling 103 acres }generally located in
the Crystal River Valley near the Penny Hot Springs to an
adjacent owner, Mr. Kelly Grange, and
WHEREAS, a survey of the specific property will be
provided upon subdivision exemption approval, and
WHEREAS, the subdivision does not create any additional
parcels for development, in that it merely revises lot lines
between adjacent land owners, and therefore has no significant
development impact on Pitkin County, and
WHEREAS, the land sale to Kelly Grange will facilitate
the agricultural use of Kelly Grange's existing cattle operation by
the addition of cattle loading chutes, canals, and additional
grazing land,
PJOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, tii,at the Pitkin County
Commissioners hereby approve the subdivision exemption request conditioned
upon receipt and recording of a meets and bounds survey of the sub-
divided parcel.
