BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

RECITALS
1. In May 2000, the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport began soliciting qualified
restaurant operators to operate the Airport Commercial Terminal Restaurant ("Restaurant").
After an unsuccessful Request for Proposals/Bid process, the Airport Staff proposed to the Board
a plan to assume the responsibility for the operation of the Restaurant itself.
2. In connection with the operation of the Restaurant, the Airport also received a
temporary liquor license to run the bar facility.
3. The Airport is now transferring the license to the Board of County
Commissioners, in order for the Board to obtain a Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License.
4. The liability insurance, fingerprints, background information, application and fees
necessary for the transfer have been completed.
5. It is in the best interest of the County to approve and execute the transfer of the
existing Restaurant's liquor license to the Board.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Pitkin County Board of County
Commissioners, of Pitkin County Colorado, hereby approves the transfer of the Aspen/Pitkin
County Airport Restaurant's Liquor License to the Board of County Commissioners.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON THE 61h DAY OF DECEMBER, 2000.
