AGENDA ITEM TITLE: Inn at Aspen Lodging Application for Limited
Liability Company Report of Changes (New
Principal Person Designation)

SUMMARY OF ISSUE: Pursuant to C.R.S. 12-47-301(7) A licensee shall report
each transfer or change of financial interest in a liquor license to the state licensing
authority and, for retail licenses, to the local licensing authority, within thirty days
after the transfer or change.
BACKGROUND: ResortQuest International has filed a report that Park Brady
has been designated as the "principal person" for ResortQuest International,
Managing Member and Sole Stockholder of Aspen Lodging Company, LLC d/b/a
Inn at Aspen. They have submitted an individual history record and finger print
cards for Mr. Brady, which have been sent to the Aspen Police Department and
the CBI. The police department has notified us that no criminal records have
been found. We have not received any response from the CBI as per the date of
this memo. Due to the fact that there is personal information on the required
forms (DR 8177 Limited Liability Company and Corporate Report of changes and
DR8442 Permit Application and Report of Changes) I have not attached either
one of these completed forms to this memo. The file for the Inn at Aspen with all
the pertinent information is available in our office.
KEY DISCUSSION ITEMS: Staff will be present to answer any questions that you
might have.
RECOMMENDED BOCC ACTION: Approve the change designating Park
Brady as the "principal person" for ResortQuest International (Aspen Lodging
Company, LLC d/b/a Inn at Aspen) contingent upon a satisfactory report from the
CBI.
